My Philosophy of Education

Through my 8 years of teaching experience as a high school agriculture advisor, I've had the privilege of growing through public education within my classroom as well as along side wonderful teaching partners, administration, and community supporters. I've learned to value the gift of learning something new everyday while achieving self-reflection and professional growth through all my endeavors. I strive for greatness within myself in order to properly support and care for my students to maximize their learning and achievements in life.

I've come to believe that education truly starts from birth. Today's youth are exponentially influenced by their opportunities from day 1, and continues through vertical articulation from Transitional Kindergarten to Graduation Day. As an influential leader, it is my responsibility to assist in the development of a coherent educational team to maximize the progress of students and their achievement. I believe in equitable education for all students by finding where students struggle to achieve. I believe in providing them with tools and strategies to find academic success for all students.
